Job summary

St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart, IN is seeking a Staff RN for the Electrophysiology Lab. This full-time, day-shift role (M-F: 7:00am-3:30pm) offers 80 hours per pay period and is bonus eligible.

The RN will implement, direct, and document the nursing process, ensuring patient safety and care quality in a specialized unit. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Indiana RN license, ACLS, and CPR certifications; BSN desirable.

The Staff RN is responsible for implementing, directing, communicating and documenting the nursing process and provides a safe environment for patients, visitors and associates. The nurse practices in accordance with current established standards of care, the Nurse Practice Act, the Powers Health policies and procedures, and supports the mission and philosophy of Powers Health.

Education/Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current professional licensure by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau. BSN desirable. Successful completion of The Powers Health System's Personnel and Nursing Orientation Programs. Obtains and maintains current certification (ACLS) as required in specialty areas (Critical Care). Obtains and maintains current CPR certification.
