Job summary

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is seeking an Endoscopy Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate, high-quality care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. You will support safety, procedural excellence, and excellent patient experiences.

The role requires RN licensure, strong clinical assessment, and the ability to work within an interdisciplinary team. On-site schedule includes 32 hours/week, M-F shifts, with on-call rotations every 6 weeks and 30-minute

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure required.

• Endoscopy or procedural nursing experience preferred (not mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and prepare patients for endoscopic procedures.
• Provide direct nursing care before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications and moderate sedation per policy and physician orders.
• Monitor patient status and responses throughout procedures and recovery.
• Assist physicians and the procedural team during endoscopic interventions.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, prep, recovery, and discharge.
• Coordinate care with physicians, anesthesia, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support infection prevention, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Promote exceptional patient experiences through compassionate, patient-centered care.

Schedule Information

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 32 Work Shift: M-F, shifts vary On-call rotation: one weekend every 6 weeks. Must be able to report to the hospital within 30 minutes while on call.

• Coordinate care with physicians, anesthesia providers, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support infection prevention, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Promote exceptional patient experiences through compassionate, patient-centered care.
