Job summary

Baptist Health in Paducah, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse to prescribe, delegate, and coordinate patient care. You will participate in patient and family teaching and provide leadership by coordinating with nursing and ancillary staff to uphold professional standards.

The position runs 6:30 am–3:00 pm, five days a week, with a focus on creating a positive customer service environment and supporting clinical excellence across the Baptist Health system.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required.
• ADN or higher degree required.

• Assess patient needs and implement appropriate interventions per department scope of service.
• Delegate nursing care activities and supervise delivery of care; maintain a plan for nursing care delivery; ensure interventions address patient needs.

Creates a positive customer service environment.

Job Duties

Assessment and identification of patient needs Implementation of appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service. Delegation of nursing care activities and provisions of supervision; establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care; assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems; and performs technical aspects of care competently.
