Ascension St. Vincent Evansville is seeking a Part-time Endoscopy RN in Evansville, IN. Join a compassionate team delivering patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a licensed RN with a nursing diploma and a minimum of one year in medical-surgical or critical care settings. On-call, weekends, and holidays may be required to support department needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date.
• BLS Provider CPR/AED from American Heart Association or Red Cross CPR/AED Rescuer.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing.
• One year medical surgical or critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, high-quality nursing care tailored to individual needs.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans with timely updates to the team.
• Coordinate across care disciplines to ensure a seamless patient journey.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders to maintain clinical momentum and safety.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Deliver Compassionate Patient-Centered Care: Provide direct, high-quality nursing care tailored to individual needs, adhering to safety protocols to promote comfort, healing, and clinical excellence.
• Champion Patient Care Plans: Implement, monitor, and adapt individualized care plans while tracking patient progress and communicating critical condition updates to ensure timely clinical decisions.
• Lead Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Serve as the primary advocate and central coordinator across all care disciplines, ensuring a seamless, well-aligned treatment journey for every patient.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• One or more of the following required:
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • American Red Cross Professional CPR/AED Rescuer.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

One year medical surgical or critical care experience required.
