Job summary

Memorial Physician Practices in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Emergency Department. In this role, you will provide crucial patient care while contributing to our mission of Making Communities Healthier®.

You will perform patient assessments, initiate nursing interventions, and complete required documentation. An Associate’s degree in nursing and RN license are required, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina or compact state RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days of hire.
• One year of RN experience as an Emergency Department RN required.

How you’ll contribute

A Registered Nurse who excels in this role:

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
• Provides age‑and‑condition‑appropriate nursing care
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient

What we’re looking for
