Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across diverse patient populations from neonate to older adult.
• Maintain patient safety and protect patient health information as part of daily duties.
• Meet physical requirements: frequent standing/walking, lifting/moving patients, and handling hazardous materials.
• Participate in ongoing clinical development and adhere to unit policies.

How You'll Contribute

• Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.
• Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.
• Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.

Education

What we are looking for:

• Associate's degree in nursing required, bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

License/Certifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Active Kentucky license (single state or compact) required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
• BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
