Job summary

Novant Health's Emergency Department in Wilmington, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity care overnight in a collaborative team setting.

You will assess and triage patients, administer medications and interventions, and educate patients and families while coordinating with physicians and the broader care team to ensure safe, compassionate emergency care. Night shift with benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; RN licensure required.
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state required; renewal/recertification support as applicable.
• BSN preferred; if inactive licensure, refresher course may be required.

• Respond quickly to changing patient needs using critical thinking, clinical judgment, and evidence-based practice

Facility: Emergency Room| Location: Wilmington, NC, Full-Time | Work Schedule: 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
