Job summary

Novant Health Community Hospital of Stokes – Danbury, NC is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room, working 24 hours per week from 7:00pm to 7:00am. The role focuses on leading the care team and coordinating an individualized plan of care for patients.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree with NC RN licensure, BLS, and at least one year of acute nursing experience; BSN is preferred. Competitive benefits start on day one.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
• If RN license inactive, refresher course is required prior to reactivating licensure.
• One year of acute nursing experience required.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse leads the healthcare team by establishing an authentic, personalized relationship with the patient and their support system.
• Collaborates with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
• Ensures care is provided in accordance with current policies and procedures, using best scientific evidence and compassion.

What We’re Looking For

• Education:- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.- If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience:One year of acute nursing experience required.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration:- Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.-Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
