Texas Health Resources, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department at Texas Health Cleburne in Cleburne, TX. This PRN rotating role requires 3 shifts in a 6-week schedule with at least one weekend shift.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in nursing with BSN preferred and at least one year of ER experience. Additional certifications include BCLS, ACLS, CPI, PALS, and TNCC with specified timelines.

Competenze

• Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• One year ER RN experience required.
• BCLS training completed before independent care and maintained quarterly.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• CPI training within 90 days of hire.
• PALS within 90 days of hire.
• TNCC within 12 months of hire.

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.

Work hours: PRN Rotating– PRN II requires 3 shifts in a 6 week schedule with a minimum of 1 weekend shift.

Here’s What You Need

• Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program
• BSN preferred
• One year experience as a registered nurse in the ER required.
• BCLS – prior to providing independent care and maintained quarterly
• ACLS – within 90 days of hire
• CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support – within 90 Days of hire
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course - within 12 Months of hire

What You Will Do

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

• Assesses the patient
• Plans the care of the patient
• Intervenes as appropriate
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
