Job summary

Weeks Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to manage patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and support patients and families. The RN will supervise assigned staff and report to the Nurse Manager and Chief Nursing Officer.

The position offers an hourly range with a commencement bonus and emphasis on strong communication, interpersonal skills, and organized care delivery in a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and NH License.
  • BLS & ACLS certification required; PALS preferred.
  • Proficient oral and written communication; excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Current clinical experience preferred; 2+ years RN ED experience required.

Responsibilities

Job description

This position is eligible for a commencement bonus of $7,500.00, with 50% payable at or around the hire date and the remaining 50% payable after six (6) months of continuous employment.
Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members. The RN is responsible to their Nurse Manager and ultimately, Chief Nursing Officer.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $41.39/hr - $51.80/hr - $55.94/hr. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's applicable experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors.

Essential Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and current NH License, BLS & ACLS cert required, PALS (preferred) Proficient oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational and time management skills Current clinical experience preferred. 2+ years of prior RN ED experience required.
