Job summary

Northcountryhomehealth Hospice in Berlin, NH, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for managing individualized patient care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The RN will provide essential physical and psychological support to patients and their families, ensuring high-quality care delivery.

The ideal candidate must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current NH License and possess BLS & ACLS certifications. Two or more years of RN ED experience are required, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and current NH License.
• BLS & ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• 2+ years of prior RN ED experience required.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members. The RN reports to the Nurse Manager and ultimately to the Chief Nursing Officer.

Essential Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and current NH License
• BLS & ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Current clinical experience preferred
• 2+ years of prior RN ED experience required

Responsibilities

Ensure the delivery of high-quality, individualized patient care; collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; provide physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends; supervise assigned team members; and maintain compliance with nursing standards and hospital policies.

Additional Requirements

All new hires are required to attend a mandatory three-day orientation at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH.
