FAMILY HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT COMPANY seeks an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (PRN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced setting in Cedar Park, TX. You will assess and implement nursing interventions, triage, and support patients and families.

Ideal candidates hold an RN in the state, with BLS/ACLS/PALS, and ER experience. Training and professional development are available, with opportunities to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• BSN or ASN preferred.
• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• RN licensure in state.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS credentials.
• ER experience 2+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency department.
• Triage patients by severity and history.
• Administer meds, treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor and document vital signs and data.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients/families.
• Prepare patients for tests and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols.
• Respond to emergencies and initiate life-saving measures.
• Stay current with emergency nursing practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associates of Science in Nursing preferred. Additional state requirements as applicable. Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Registered Nurse in the State.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS.
• Two-year emergency room experience in a hospital setting or equivalent experience
