FAMILY HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT COMPANY seeks an Emergency Department Registered Nurse in Brushy Creek – Round Rock, TX 78681. This full-time role delivers critical care in a fast-paced ED, administering treatments, triaging patients, and coordinating with the care team.

You will monitor vitals, document care, and provide education to patients and families while maintaining high safety and compliance standards. Strong emergency nursing experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate of Science in Nursing; graduate of accredited program.
• Registered Nurse in the State.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Two-year emergency room experience in a hospital setting or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency department.
• Triage patients according to severity of condition and medical history.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patients' vital signs and medical information.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, examinations, and treatments.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and initiate life-saving measures.
• Maintain knowledge of current emergency nursing practices and technologies.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training activities.
• Assist in managing and restocking medical supplies and equipment.
