Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift. You will perform comprehensive clinical assessments, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate multidisciplinary care to support patients’ physical, mental, and emotional health.

Eligible candidates can receive a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a $10,000 relocation bonus. The role requires Florida RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 12-lead EKG experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred and 1+ acute hospital experience

Qualifications

• RN license issued by Florida is required.
• 1+ 12-lead EKG experience is required.
• 1+ acute hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional health.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and patient needs.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care by facilitating collaboration among physicians, nurses and therapists.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed, communicating with patients and families.

Schedule: Nights (7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.)

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional health.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Skills required to work in the emergency department as defined by unit

• Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patients, evaluate interventions, and revise the plan of care according to patient outcomes

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]

• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ 12 lead ekg experience [Required]

• 1+ acute hospital experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse Florida License (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) [Required]
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) [Required]
• APEX Innovations NIHSS [Required]
