Endeavor Health is seeking an RN - Emergency Department for Edwards Hospital in Naperville, IL. This full-time night position (7:00pm–7:30am) requires 36 hours per week, with every third weekend and rotating holidays. Education must include a BSN or higher, IL RN licensure, and ACLS/PALS with NIHSS within specified periods.

A $20,000 bonus is available for qualified applicants who meet the criteria and are hired within the stated window. Benefits and premium pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Illinois RN licensure required.
• ACLS/PALS/Stroke scales certifications within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Assess patient condition, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress and document observations.
• Delegate tasks and collaborate with the healthcare team to meet unit goals.

Hourly Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Job Description Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October 2026.

Position Highlights

• Position: RN - Emergency Department
• Location: Edwards Hospital - Naperville, IL
• Full Time: 36 hours/week
• Hours: Night 7:00pm-7:30am with every third weekend and rotating holidays
• Bonus: 20K Bonus: minimum 2 years ED experience required; must be hired after 6/15/2026 and accept an offer by 8/31/2026.

What you will need

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing; if associate degree in nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a bachelor's degree in nursing within five years of position start date.
• License: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Certification: Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within three months of start date into position; Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within three months of start date into position; Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) within three months of start date into position.

What you will do

Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
