Qualifications

• Must have an active NY RN license and 2+ years of ED experience.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC are required.

Shift: 10:30A-11P

Submission Requirements:

1. Must live 75 Miles away from facility - TRAVEL
2. WILL TAKE LOCALS - Local rate (less than 75 miles)
3. Up to date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in ED with some PEDS experience. Also, documenting travel experience.
4. 2 recent ED Charge/Manager RN References
5. Skills Checklist matching specialty
6. Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics
7. Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
8. TNCC IS REQUIRED!!
9. NURSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License
10. RTO MUST be included at time of submission
11. EMR Exp Required: EPIC

Unit: Emergency Department

Shift: 10:30AM-11:00PM. (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)

OT: After 48

Charge Capability: HIGHLY PREFERRED

Floating Required: Yes

Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Unit Specifics:

Common patient diagnosis: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Resp Failure

Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun

Patients: Newborn, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatric

Number of Beds in the Unit: 64 beds, 2 Triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 Trauma, 10 CDU, 6 psych

Required Drips Medications: Pressors- Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Vasodilators- Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG, Anti-arrhythmic-Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido, Sedation- Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl, TNK, Heparin and Insulin
