Registered Nurse Emergency Center 3P -3A
Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and practices. Duties include assessment of patients, developing plans of care, implementing and evaluating these plans. The role requires a high quality of care to meet the Hospital's core mission.
General Requirements

- Maintains current knowledge through self-education and ongoing training
- Attends staff meetings, completes mandatory in-services, requirements, and competency evaluations on time
- Provides competent care to patients of all ages, demonstrating appropriate customer service skills
- Wears protective clothing and equipment as needed
Working Conditions
- Works in a well-lit, air-conditioned environment with moderate noise
- May be exposed to high noise, bright lights, hazardous substances, body fluids, or infectious organisms
- Must adapt quickly to changing tasks and manage high-stress situations
- May require overtime and flexible scheduling
Qualifications - Internal
Education Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
Experience Requirements
- 1-2 years of nursing experience (Preferred)
Certifications and Licenses
- Current Georgia RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire
- Georgia Stroke Curriculum & NIHSS within 6 months of hire
- PALS within 1 year of hire
- Crisis Response Training (CRT) within 1 year of hire
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 1 year of hire
Skills and Physical Requirements
- Organizational, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Basic computer skills
- Good vision, manual dexterity, and coordination
Physical Demands
- Standing continuously (67-100%), walking frequently (34-66%), sitting occasionally (1-33%)
- Bending, stooping, twisting, pushing/pulling, reaching above shoulder as needed
