Job summary

Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital in Tomahawk, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to provide comprehensive emergency care, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and uphold high-quality standards and patient safety. A sign-on bonus is eligible.

The role requires an active Wisconsin RN license, a nursing degree, and mandatory ED certification; BLS/CPR and ongoing CEUs are required. Day/night rotations, weekend/holiday requirements, and full-time or 0.9 FTE workloads are

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license.
• Knowledge of patient care standards acquired through completion of a nursing program.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Maintains mandatory specialty certification required for the Emergency Department.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within 90 days of hire (accepted programs include the American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Annual continuing education (CEUs) as per Education Council recommendation.

Job Overview

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital, Tomahawk, WI). Sign‑on bonus eligible. This RN will assume responsibility and accountability for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, incorporating evidence‑based practice and continuously improving quality through data analysis.

Hours & Schedule

• Full Time or 0.9FTE, 72 hours every pay period.
• Day/Night rotation.
• Every 3rd weekend and holiday.
