Saint Mary’s Health Network in Reno, NV is seeking a Staff RN for the Emergency Department. You will collaborate with physicians, monitor patient conditions, document care, and respond promptly to clinical changes while upholding EMTALA regulations and reporting abuse as required.
Requirements include at least one year as a staff nurse in an acute care setting (ER preferred), English proficiency, Nevada RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS; TNCC, ENA, and CEN preferred within specified timelines.

The Staff RN is directly accountable for the care given to patients in the Emergency Department. He / She will communicate with the physician about the changes in the patients’ clinical condition including results of the diagnostic studies and symptomatology. The staff RN recognizes life threatening situation/ changes in conditions and/or responses to treatment quickly and accurately responds. The Staff RN maintains accurate and relevant record of all patient care. The Staff RN is knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and reporting of child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies. The Staff RN actively participating in cost containment and assisting in accurate charging for patient services.
