Job summary

Saint Mary’s Health Network in Reno, NV is seeking a Telemetry RN to provide direct patient care on telemetry units. You will monitor cardiac rhythms, respond to alarms, and communicate changes to the care team, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires NV RN licensure, BLS/ACLS certifications, and completion of basic arrhythmia training within 90 days of hire; per diem scheduling may apply based on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Recent acute in-hospital nursing experience preferred.
• English communication (spoken and written) required.
• Nevada RN license current and valid.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required.
• Completion of Basic Arrhythmia training within 90 days of hire.
• See amendment for new graduates.

Responsibilities

The Staff RN is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her Telemetry assigned patients. He / She communicates with physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Recent acute, in-hospital experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English (Speak, Write)
• Current and valid Nevada RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) certification required
• Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia training within 90 days of hire.
