Job summary

Qualifications

• All Diploma/ADN hires must complete a BSN within 60 months or have 5+ years RN experience.
• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required for staff with stroke patient responsibilities.
• BSN preferred.
• 1 year RN experience required for Float positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care guided by ANA standards and Code of Ethics.
• Record medical history, perform diagnostics, administer meds and therapies.
• Prepare and revise care plans, monitor patient progress and outcomes.
• Teach patients and families about illness management and home care.
• Mentor and direct LPNs and nursing aides as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for patient care delivery.
