Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process. You will be accountable for the care of assigned patients, evaluate care effectiveness, and coordinate with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Requirements include an RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and BLS certification (or completion within 30 days). Additional unit-specific certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure current in the hiring state or compact licensure
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) or completion within 30 days of hire
• One or more unit-specific certifications may be required (ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM, etc.)

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
