Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced registered nurse in Oklahoma to deliver comprehensive patient care using the nursing process. You will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld.

Responsibilities include evaluating care effectiveness, coordinating patient care across departments, and maintaining professional accountability. Certification requirements may include BLS and other unit-specific trainings as listed by Mercy, with the goal

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Must hold RN license in the hiring state or have compact licensure where nursing duties are performed.
• Basic Life Support certification or complete within 30 days of hire.
• Certifications may include ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM, or other unit-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
