Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma is seeking a registered nurse to deliver patient care using the nursing process, coordinate care with other departments, and uphold patient rights and Mercy Service Standards.

Education: ADN, Diploma, or BSN; Licensure: current RN license in the hiring state or compact, with mandatory BLS within 30 days of hire; certifications may be required based on unit needs. Mercy offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• One or more listed certifications may be required (ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM, or others).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties aligned with Mercy Service Standards.
