Job summary

Mercy in Edmond, Oklahoma is seeking a compassionate registered nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process. You will maintain patient rights and confidentiality while coordinating care with other departments and ensuring adherence to Mercy Service Standards.

Ideal candidates will be licensed RN in Oklahoma or compact state, hold BLS with ongoing certification, and be prepared for unit-specific certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Must hold and maintain RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure per state requirements.
• Basic Life Support certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Certifications may vary by unit and include ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM, or other unit-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Performs duties consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards.
