Job summary

Ascension's Columbia St. Mary's Ozaukee Emergency Department in Mequon, WI is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate, high-quality direct patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include documenting patient progress, executing orders promptly, coordinating care across disciplines, and leading discharge planning to ensure safe transitions home. PRN schedule with opportunities to grow within a leading nonprofit health system.

Qualifications

• Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
