Job summary

Qualifications

The RN - Registered Nurse - ED - Emergency Room Department is proficient as a critical care nurse. The position requires ability to interact effectively with patients at all growth and development stages, and to interact with patients and families in crisis. Assists physicians with procedures, within their scope of practice. Excellent documentation skills required. The registered nurse is able to work with minimal supervision. Critical thinking skills depict ability to prioritize patient needs and coordinate services in compliance with EMTALA. Documents performance of peers through peer review process. Participates in Performance and Process improvement activities. Supports the success of the ED Team. Collaborates effectively with physician team members and unit supervisor; computer literate

Job Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Minimum lyr recent experience in an Emergency Rooom Unit
• Must have current RN Texas or compact licensurse in the state of Texas
• Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS.
