Job summary

Jobtailor in Barrington, IL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide hospital inpatient dialysis and coordinate comprehensive patient care across the nursing process. You will work three 12-hour shifts plus one on-call shift weekly at Advocate Condell Medical Center and Advocate Sherman Hospital, delivering safe, evidence-based care and leading patient safety initiatives.

Candidates must have an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, BLS, and preferably dialysis experience;

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Dialysis experience strongly preferred.
• CNN certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide dialysis treatments to hospital inpatients.
• Coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
• Utilize evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making.

• Provide dialysis treatments to patients staying in a hospital
• Work in a fast-paced, high-acuity inpatient dialysis setting
• Float to Advocate Condell Medical Center and Advocate Sherman Hospital
• Work three 12-hour shifts and one on-call shift per week
• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
• Use evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Previous dialysis experience strongly preferred
• CNN Certification a plus
