Job summary

Proforma Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care on a Neurology unit specializing in head, neck, and spine injuries. You will conduct assessments, develop care plans, implement treatments, and evaluate outcomes for diverse patient groups.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license with a nursing degree ( ADN/ Diploma/ BSN) and BLS; ACLS/PALS or unit-specific certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Neurology unit for head, neck, and spine injuries.
• Perform nursing assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and educate patients and families.

Job description

You will coordinate with ancillary departments to ensure optimal patient comfort and care, working within the scope of nursing practice and adhering to established guidelines and standards.

Ideal candidates will have completed nursing education (associate's, diploma, or BSN), hold a current RN license, and maintain Basic Life Support certification. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or specialized pediatric or trauma courses may be required based on unit needs.
