Job summary

FMOL Health in Gonzales, LA is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medicine Unit on days, full-time. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered to qualified applicants, with competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

The RN will provide safe, holistic patient care, perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with the health care team to improve patient outcomes. Louisiana license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English language, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills.
• Current Louisiana State license as RN and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Practice and Care Management
• Performs psychosocial/physiologic assessments that integrates changing data
• Formulates a plan of care based on trends of similar patients, including patient education and discharge planning
• Participates in planning of routine transitional health care needs and end-of-life options
• Collaborates with patients and families to identify realistic outcomes and ensure quality care
