Job summary

Houston Medical Center-AMG Specialty Hospital in Houston, TX seeks a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for day shifts. The RN will deliver direct and indirect patient care in a long-term acute care setting, coordinating with physicians and care teams to monitor conditions and responses to treatments.

Ideal candidates have Texas RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and strong English communication skills; ICU experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Registered Nurse licensure.
• ICU/critical care experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Additional languages desirable.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting.
• Communicate with physicians, CCO, and coworkers about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Respond quickly to changes in condition or response to treatment; perform general nursing duties with supervision.
• ICU/critical care experience is a plus.
