AdventHealth Denver is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse to conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. The role requires RN licensure, 1 year of procedural nursing experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• RN required and active license.
• Minimum 1 year of procedural nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental and social factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; reassess and adjust as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and communication.
• Document patient information accurately in the medical record.
• Evaluate outcomes and adjust plans to improve health results.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care within the team to ensure quality.
