Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, and educate families while collaborating with the medical team.

The role requires an RN license, BLS, at least 1 year of procedural nursing experience, and proficiency with hospital software. The facility offers a 5K sign-on bonus and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
