Job Description

Staff Nurses are responsible for:

1. Performing patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice.
2. Practicing safe medication administration and assessing patient responses.
3. Participating in reviewing and implementing clinical pathways and care coordination.

The Staff Nurse provides professional nursing care to a group of patients within a specified time frame and completes all required documentation.

Qualifications:

• BSN Degree preferred
• State-issued RN license
• Minimum of one year RN experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• CCRN certification or proof of ECCO (Essentials of Critical Care) training; or willingness to sign our adult Critical Care Course agreement (two-year work commitment)
