Southern Illinois Healthcare is seeking a professional registered nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care for patients across various units. This role emphasizes compassionate patient and family support, with opportunities to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

The position requires an Illinois RN license, current CPR/BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and ongoing certifications including TNCC/TNS and NRP/PALS as applicable.

Competenze

• Nursing degree at least an associate level or higher.
• Current Illinois RN license and CPR/BLS required.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC or TNS required by 6/2026.
• NRP/PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Pediatric/neonatal certifications as applicable.

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Establish a compassionate environment to support patients and families.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individual plan of care with the care team.
• Provide health teaching and counseling to promote and maintain health.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment with critical thinking to report changes in condition.
• Complete accurate documentation in the patient medical record.
• Float to other SIH nursing units within competency level.
