A leading healthcare provider seeks an experienced RN for the Critical Care Float Pool in Minneapolis. The position involves caring for critically ill veterans across various units, requiring strong clinical judgment and flexibility. Ideal candidates will possess a nursing license and have critical care experience. This role emphasizes collaboration and continuous improvement in patient care.
The Critical Care Float Pool (CCFP) is composed of experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) RNs who care for critically ill veterans. This RN position supports staffing across the facility, including a 16-bed ICU, two critical care step-down units, and the Emergency Department. The RN must demonstrate competency in caring for a variety of critically ill populations, including but not limited to: cardiac surgery, aortic vascular surgery, respiratory failure, and septic shock.
