Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL is seeking a Part-Time Days Registered Nurse-Critical Care Float. This role requires clinical competence in nursing, coordinating care for acutely ill patients and floating to ICU and step-down areas as needed.

The RN will practice per ANA standards, adhere to ethics, and participate in the nursing process with assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of current acute critical care experience within the past 5 years.
• BSN degree is required.
• Licensed RN with current license; BLS and ACLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Float to multiple units including ICU and step-down as needed.

Job description

The salary range for this position is $37.00 - $59.20 (Hourly Rate). Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

Registered Nurse-Critical Care Float Part-Time Days

The RN Float – Critical Care reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. This position is a clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care to the acutely ill patient through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members, while maintaining ANA standards of professional nursing practice.
• Ability to float to multiple assigned areas including critical care and step-down units.

Qualifications

• The float RN must possess three or more years of current acute critical care experience within the past 5 years.
• BSN
• LIC RN, CERT BLS, ACLS within 90 days of hire
