Saint Luke's in Kansas City, MO is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Float Pool. The role is full-time night shift 7p-7a, with float assignments across Medical ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU, Cardiac ICU, and Cardiovascular ICU.

A 2-year ICU background is preferred; BLS and ACLS are required. RN licensure in KS/MO; you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support patient care across metro facilities.

Qualifications

• 2 years of applicable ICU experience preferred.
• RN licensure in KS or MO with multistate endorsement.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process.
• Float between Medical ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU, Cardiac ICU, and Cardiovascular ICU.
• Coordinate plan of care for assigned patients and supervise other staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Saint Luke's is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Float Pool!

• FT Night; 7p-7a

• Will float between our metro entities.

The Opportunity:

The Critical Care Float Pool is looking for an RN who wants to gain experience in various units while working at three to four facilities across the metro. The Tier 2 float pool nurse will care for a variety of patient populations and float to the following units: Medical ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU, Cardiac ICU, and Cardiovascular ICU. Opportunity to work with collaborative multi-disciplinary teams and a supportive leadership team.

Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks, and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
