Job summary

Saint Luke's is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Float Pool. The position is a Full-Time Night role (7p-7a) with floating across metro facilities and Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, MO.

Candidates should have ICU experience or strong ICU interest, plus BLS and ACLS certifications. RN license in KS or MO is required and the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of applicable nursing experience (ICU preferred)
• BLS, ACLS certifications required
• RN license in KS/MO (NURSYS)

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to care for patients across units.
• Delegate patient care tasks and supervise other staff.
• Coordinate plan of care with the health care team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide care across Medical ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU, Cardiac ICU, and Cardiovascular ICU.

Saint Luke's is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Float Pool!

The Opportunity

The Critical Care Float Pool is looking for an RN who wants to gain experience in various units while working at four facilities across the metro, plus one critical access hospital. The Tier 3 float pool nurse will care for a variety of patient populations and float to the following units: Medical ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU, Cardiac ICU, and Cardiovascular ICU. Opportunity to work with collaborative multi-disciplinary teams and a supportive leadership team.

Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks, and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
