Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System in the Kansas City area is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Tier I Float Pool at Saint Luke’s South. The RN will float to Medical Intermediate units, work nights, and provide patient care using the nursing process.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, delegate tasks, supervise other staff, coordinate plans of care, and consult with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1 year nursing experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Registered Nurse with an Associate Degree.

Saint Luke's South is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Tier I Float Pool. This position will float to various Medical Intermediate units at Saint Luke's South. Schedule: Full Time, 36 hours, Nights The Medical Intermediate Float Pool is looking for an RN who wants to gain experience in various units while working in a variety of medical intermediate units. Opportunity to work with collaborative multi-disciplinary teams and a supportive leadership team. Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks, and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.

Job Requirements

Applicable Experience: 1 year Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various Associate Degree
