Saint Luke's East is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Tier I Float Pool, floating to various Medical Intermediate units. The role supports collaborative multidisciplinary teams and uses the nursing process to coordinate care.

Full Time Night shifts (36 hours) in Missouri, with opportunities to work across units and supervise patient care staff while ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1 year applicable nursing experience
• Basic Life Support certification (AHA or Red Cross)
• RN with an Associate Degree

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to coordinate patient care
• Performs patient care tasks and delegates as appropriate
• Supervises other patient care staff as needed
• Coordinates the plan of care for assigned patients and consults with the healthcare team

About the Role

The Medical Intermediate Float Pool is looking for an RN who wants to gain experience in various units while working in a variety of medical intermediate units. Opportunity to work with collaborative multi-disciplinary teams and a supportive leadership team. Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks, and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.

Job Requirements

• Applicable Experience: 1 year
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Registered Nurse - Various Associate Degree
