Job summary

Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL is hiring a 0.9 FTE registered nurse for first shift in the ICU/critical care setting. The role provides comprehensive patient care under physicians' orders and supports procedures in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires an ADN, Florida RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS credentials, with at least 1 year of critical care experience; a sign-on bonus of $20,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing from an Accredited School.
• 1+ year of Critical Care nursing experience required.
• State of FL RN license.
• American Heart or Red Cross BLS ACLS and PALS (current).

Responsibilities

• Provides care in accordance with physicians' treatment plans to provide for patient comfort and well-being.
• Assesses patient condition and develops a nursing plan of care.
• Administers prescribed drugs and treatments; observes progress and reports reactions.

Summary

Assists physicians with procedures/examinations and prepares instruments and equipment for physicians' use.

Education
