Job summary

Pershing General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care in a critical access hospital and SNF setting. The RN will perform assessments, plan patient care, administer medications and IV therapies, monitor vitals, provide wound care, and educate patients and families.

Collaboration with the healthcare team and accurate record-keeping are essential. Qualifications include a Nevada RN license and BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Nevada RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Minimum of nursing program completion and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical and psychological conditions.
• Develop individualized care plans based on assessments and diagnoses.
• Administer medications and IV therapies; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Monitor vitals and document findings.
• Provide wound care and dressing changes.
