The State of Nebraska is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Reception and Treatment Center (Evergreen) in Lincoln. You will deliver direct patient care in a correctional setting, administer medications, and guide licensed practical nurses and staff under supervision of Nursing Director or Supervisor.

Competenze

• Current Nebraska RN license in good standing
• Authority to practice via Nurse Licensure Compact
• Experience supervising others (preferred)
• Must pass background check and pre-employment medical examination and drug test
• On-the-job training program for staff will be provided

Mansioni

• Provide nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled incarcerated individuals.
• Administer medications, transcribe and carry out doctor's orders, assess patients using protocols and triage.
• Assist in moving patients and provide clinical direction to LPNs and direct care staff.
