Job summary

Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality medical care in a correctional facility.

The role requires timely assessment, planning, and execution of nursing duties, adherence to HIPAA, and strong collaboration with practitioners. You'll administer prescribed medications, monitor patient conditions, and provide education and support to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where services are provided.
• BLS certification with hands-on training.
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of the RN scope of practice in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
• Contact practitioners to obtain orders and administer medications as prescribed.
• Record vital signs, assessments, and test results accurately and promptly.
• Provide emergency first aid and triage when needed.
• Maintain infection control and aseptic techniques at all times.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate diagnosis and treatment.
