Job summary

PRECISION HEALTHCARE is seeking an RN for the Springfield, VT area. This 13-week contract role offers a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with up to 2300.00 gross weekly pay and benefits from day 1. Local or travel candidates are accepted.

Requirements include a VT RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, CPR/BLS, and at least 1 year of clinical experience preferred. The role emphasizes nursing care in a correctional setting and compliance with facility policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of VT.
• CPR Certification required.
• Ability to work in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Work under supervision of Charge Nurse(s) to support patient care and education.
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and facility protocols.
• Assist with diagnostic testing, procedures, and patient monitoring.
• Respond to patient needs in a correctional healthcare environment.
• Document nursing care accurately and in accordance with facility policy.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare and correctional staff.
• Maintain compliance with all safety, security, and clinical guidelines.
