Job summary

Heartline Staffing is recruiting Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 26-week correctional healthcare assignment in Waymart, PA. Two openings are available on the 10:00 PM–6:30 AM night shift.

You will provide direct nursing care, assess patients, administer medications, maintain documentation, and collaborate with the healthcare team in a secure correctional environment. PA RN license is required.

Qualifications

• Current, active Pennsylvania RN license required.
• Strong nursing assessment and clinical judgment skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide routine and urgent nursing care within the RN scope of practice.
• Ability to maintain professionalism in a secure correctional environment.
• Must be able to work the 10:00 PM–6:30 AM night shift.
• Must meet applicable Commonwealth and correctional facility requirements prior to placement.

Correctional healthcare requires nurses who can remain professional, adaptable and focused while providing appropriate care within a secure environment. Candidates must be prepared to follow both healthcare and facility security procedures throughout the assignment.
