Job summary

Ascension St. John in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a full-time nurse leader to oversee the Heart Failure Clinic program. This role focuses on developing and documenting care plans, maintaining clinical standards, and guiding nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.

The position offers day shift scheduling, supportive resources, and opportunities for professional development within Ascension’s nonprofit health system.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license in Oklahoma (BOA) and current BLS certification.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure is required.
• Experience in clinical care standards, policies, and procedures preferred.

• Ensure plan of care therapy program is implemented and resources/equipment are available.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Preferred Credential(s):
• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
