Valley Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse II to provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and patient education, with emphasis on communication, teamwork, and leadership.

Candidates must hold an RN license, with BSN preferred, and meet experience requirements to progression goals. This role supports quality initiatives and collaborative care across units.

Qualifications

• RN license required; eligibility to practice in Virginia and/or West Virginia.
• BSN preferred; 1872 hours PT/FT required for advancement check.
• Experience with the nursing process and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide quality communication, teamwork and leadership/professionalism.
• Direct, coordinate and implement patient teaching and safety initiatives.
• Perform as Charge Nurse and participate in PI activities and department initiatives.
