JOB SUMMARY

The Registered Nurse will serve as an integral member of the Community Health Nursing team, providing comprehensive support to the Community Health Program within the scope of nursing practice. This role includes acting as a patient advocate while supporting the clinical, administrative, and billing functions of the Community Health department. The Registered Nurse is responsible for participating in the planning, coordination, and delivery of care for Tulalip Tribal Members and other eligible community members residing in Snohomish County. The position emphasizes collaboration, culturally responsive care, and a patient-centered approach to improve overall community health outcomes.

Minimum Required Education
  • Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the Science of Nursing preferred.
Minimum Related Experience
  • Three (3) years of experience working as a Registered Nurse.
  • One (1) year of experience working with Electronic Health Records.
  • Two (2) years of experience working in Community Health or related field preferred.
  • One (1) year of experience working with diverse cultures, specifically Native Americans preferred.
  • Experience working as a Home Health Registered Nurse preferred.
Required Licenses/Certifications/Prerequisites
  • WA State Driver License (Personal Auto Insurance).
  • Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulations (Abstract Required).
  • Current and unrestricted Washington State Registered Nurse license.
  • Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray.
  • CPR/BLS certificate.
  • Mandated Reporter Training upon hire.
  • HIPAA certification upon hire.
  • Must abide by department's vaccination policy and will need to provide immunization records.
  • Must complete a Tulalip Health System pre‑onboarding credentialing prior to start date.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre‑employment background check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

This is a regular Full-Time position.
